The idea here is to show that clubfoot isn't a
handicap -  even during treatment. There is
no reason to let the condition change your
    family's ordinary life or recreational
activities.   Shown here you will see Brian,
Everett and Garrison - all three boys who
were born with bilateral clubfeet - enjoying
an active, normal life despite the fact that
Everett and Garrison still wear a Mitchell
    FAB.
Brian - Tiger Cub Scouts Awards;   Brian and Honey hunt Easter Eggs;  Everett's first birthday.
Brian and Honey hold bull frogs;   Honey and Everett with the goat; Brian eating an apple with the goat.
Everett with his toy gun;   Everett helping Mom with laundry;  Brian and Everett painting.
Silly Everett eating dog food;    Funny face Brian with Everett one day.
Chriss & all three boys on the boat; Garrison wearing his Mitchell FAB vested up on the boat;  the boys and I at a carnival.
Camping out at Greenleaf State Park, we give the little boys baths in a big bucket.

A day spent at St. Augustine, FL - and the
first trip to the Atlantic Ocean for the boys
and I!  The Castillo de San Marcos and the
Alligator Farm are to Must-See's if you ever
visit there!  Sadly they don't allow the Small
Fries up in the light house...

Have I managed to convince you yet
that clubfoot
"Ain't No Thang" ???
...time marches on....
              time marches on.
If you was a horse fly
and me an old gray mare,
I'd let you bite me baby
and never move a hair...

'cause that's how much I love
you...that's how much I love you.
You could do anything
that you wanna do...
'cause that's how much
I love you.
Boys and girls and toads and
mud...ah, gotta love them hot summer
days!

What clubfoot images do you imagine?
What do photos of clubfeet look like?

In our house, clubfeet look like happy
children - thanks to the Ponseti Method.

Look at our clubfoot photos to see!
I'm like the world's biggest wanna-be
tourist.  I consider myself a tourist
right in my own home town, always
trying to learn and go see what might
abound as far as sight-seeing and
history goes.

We aren't a family that goes on one
big vacation each summer, instead, we
take lots of mini vacations because
really, what is a vacation except a
break from the ordinary?

Many of our trips - OK,
most of our
trips, like our day to St. Augustine,
FL, are spur of the moment.   We like
to travel though, and I'll say it again,
clubfoot has never slowed us down at
all.

Looking at these photos you would
never begin to guess clubfoot existed
in our lives.  I hope the same for you.
See any clubfeet in this photo?  No,
just three boys having fun in the surf.
Is this a clubfoot photo?  Yes!
Clubfeet are a thing of the past for
Everett as he plays with my big dog.
Six-feet take Gainesville Florida by
storm as we move in from Oklahoma!

There is no qualified Ponseti Method
treatment available at our local
children's hospital, Shands, but I
continue to work to change that.
